In Work Module, click “Timesheet” in the navigation panel.
1. Timesheet Listing Page
Displays a list of all timesheet entries with the following columns:
Code: Unique identifier for the time entry.
Task: Name of the task associated with the time entry.
Employee: Name and designation of the employee.
Start Time: Time when the work started.
End Time: Time when the work ended.
Total Hours: Total time logged in hours.
Earnings: Earnings based on billable hours, if applicable.
2. Action Items
Edit: Modify existing time logs.
Delete: Remove a specific time log entry.
Approve, View: to accept or view the entry.
Features:
Search: Search for timesheet entries using keywords like task name, employee name, or date.
Filters:
Duration: Filter by date range (start date to end date).
Employee: Filter timesheet entries for specific employees.
Task or project (applicable in calendar view).
Export: Export the timesheet data into external formats (e.g., Excel, CSV).
Table View and Calendar View:
Table View: Standard row-column format for listing all timesheet entries.
Calendar View: Visual representation of time logs in a monthly, weekly, daily, or list view format.
3. Log Time
Purpose: Allows users to manually log work time for tasks.
Form Fields:
Project: Select the project for which the task belongs.
Task: Select the specific task to log time for.
Employee: Assign the time log to an employee.
Start Date/Time: Specify the date and time the work started.
End Date/Time: Specify the date and time the work ended.
Memo: Add a brief description of the work done during the logged time.
Total Hours: Automatically calculated based on the start and end times.
Action Buttons:
Save: Save the time log entry.
Cancel: Exit the form without saving.
4. Employee Timelog
Displays a summary of hours logged by a specific employee over a defined duration.
Fields Displayed:
Total hours logged.
Earnings (if applicable).
5. Calendar View
Visual representation of logged time entries.
View Options:
Month: Shows all time logs for the selected month.
Week: Displays time logs week by week.
Day: Breaks down logs by individual days.
List: Lists all time logs within a specific range.
6. How It Works Tab
Overview of the Timesheet Lifecycle:
Explains the process of logging time:
Work: Identify the task to log time for.
Timesheet: Log work hours in the timesheet.
Billable or Non-Billable: Mark time entries as billable or non-billable.
Include Time Entries in Invoice: Billable hours are included in client invoices.
Get Paid: Earnings are tracked based on the logged time.
This module enables streamlined time tracking, better management of billable hours, and transparent visibility into employee work efforts.
