This guide walks you through integrating Stripe payment gateway into the Projeni Portal, including API key setup, webhook configuration, and recurring payment setup.

Step 1: Log in to Your Stripe Account

• Visit https://dashboard.stripe.com/login and log in using your administrator credentials.
• Only users with Administrator permissions can access the API keys.
• Navigate to the Developers section from the left sidebar.
• Click on API Keys.
• Copy the Publishable key and Secret key — these are required for the Projeni Portal setup.

Step 2: Configure Stripe API Keys in Projeni Portal

• Log in to the Projeni Portal as a Company Admin.
• Navigate to Settings > Payment Credentials > Stripe.
• Paste the copied keys:
  • Paste the Publishable key into the Publishable Key field.
  • Paste the Secret key into the Stripe Secret field.
• Save your settings.

Step 3: Add Stripe Webhook

To enable the Projeni Portal to receive real-time payment status updates, you need to configure a webhook in Stripe.

• In the Projeni Portal payment settings, copy the Webhook URL.
• Go back to the Stripe Dashboard.
• Navigate to Developers > Webhooks.
• Click + Add endpoint.
• Paste the copied Webhook URL into the Endpoint URL field.

• In the Events to send section, select the following events:
  • payment_intent.succeeded
  • payment_intent.payment_failed
  • invoice.payment_succeeded
  • invoice.payment_failed
• Save the webhook.

• After creation, click on the webhook to open its details page.
• Copy the Signing secret displayed there.
• Paste this secret into the Projeni Portal’s Stripe Webhook Secret field.
• Save the settings.
