The Messages module enables efficient communication between team members and clients. This module includes a Messages Listing Page, the ability to start a New Conversation, and manage ongoing conversations.
In the navigation panel, click on Messages Module.
Messages Listing Page
View all conversations with team members or clients.
Features:
Search for specific conversations using the search bar.
View the most recent message and timestamp for each conversation.
Click on a conversation to view full chat history and send new messages.
New Conversation
Click on the + New Conversation button.
In the New Conversation dialog box:
Choose Member or Client: Select the recipient type.
Select Recipient: Choose a specific member or client from the dropdown.
Message: Type the message in the provided text area.
Attach File (Optional): Use the "Choose a file" option to upload and attach files.
Click Send to initiate the conversation.
Conversation
Once a conversation is selected, the following actions are available:
Send Messages: Type a message in the input box and click Send.
Attach Files: Use the "Upload File" option to send attachments.
Delete Messages: Click the ellipsis (...) next to a message and select Delete to remove it.
Best Practices
Keep messages clear and concise for efficient communication.
Use attachments for supporting files like images or documents.
Regularly archive or delete old conversations to keep the interface organized.
