The Deals Module enables you to track and manage deals associated with your leads.


Deals Sub-module


The Deals Submodule allows you to track and manage deals associated with your leads.

Accessing the Deals Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Leads section from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Deals to access the dashboard.


Managing Deals

  • Add, view, and edit deals directly from the Deals dashboard.

  • Track deal status, value, and pipeline stages to ensure seamless follow-ups.

You can monitor deals at various stages of the sales pipeline, enabling you to efficiently manage your sales process.



2. Accessing the Deals Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Leads section from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click on Deals to access the Deals Dashboard.

The Deals Dashboard provides an overview of all deals, with options to search, filter, add, and track deals in either table or Kanban view.

3. Features of the Deals Dashboard

a. Deals Listing

  • View a list of all deals along with key details such as: 

    • Deal Name

    • Lead

    •  Name

    • Contact Details

    • Deal Value

    • Close Date

    • Stage of the Deal

b. Add Deal

  1. Click the "Add Deal" button to open the deal creation form.

  2. Fill in the required fields, including: 

    • Lead Contact: Select the associated lead for the deal.

    • Deal Name: Enter a descriptive name for the deal.

    • Deal Value: Specify the value of the deal.

    • Pipeline: Choose the relevant sales pipeline (e.g., Sales Pipeline).

    • Stage: Select the current stage of the deal (e.g., Generated, Qualified).

    • Close Date: Set the expected closing date.

    • Deal Category, Deal Agent, and Products (optional).

  3. Click "Save" to create the deal, or "Save & Add More" to add multiple deals consecutively.

c. Import Deals

  1. Click the "Import" button to upload deals in bulk.

  1. Steps for importing deals: 

    • Download Template: Click "Download Sample Import File" to get the correct format.

    • Fill in the required details in the template (ensure dates are in YYYY-MM-DD format).

    • Upload the completed file using the "Choose a File" option.

    • Click "Upload and Move to Next Step" to import the deals.

d. Export Deals

  • Click the "Export" button to download the list of deals in an Excel file for reporting or backup purposes.

e. Search and Filter Deals

  1. Use the Search Bar to quickly locate deals by name, lead, or other parameters.

  2. Apply Filters to refine the view by: 

    • Duration (Start and End Date)

    • Pipeline

    • Category

    • Product



f. Kanban and Table View

  • Toggle between Table View and Kanban View using the view widget in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Kanban View Features:

  • Visualize deals categorized by their stages, such as: 

    • Generated

    • Qualified

    • Initial Contact

    • Schedule Appointment

    • Proposal Sent

    • Win

    • Lost

  • Drag and drop deals to update their stages.

4. Deal Stages

Each deal progresses through predefined stages in the pipeline. Common stages include:

  • Generated: Initial stage for new deals.

  • Qualified: Indicates that the deal has been assessed and qualified.

  • Initial Contact: A meeting or discussion has been initiated.

  • Schedule Appointment: An appointment is scheduled for follow-up.

  • Proposal Sent: A formal proposal has been shared.

  • Win: The deal has been successfully closed.

  • Lost: The deal did not convert.

5. Actions for Individual Deals

Each deal in the listing has an action menu (three dots) that provides the following options:

  • View: See detailed deal information.

  • Edit: Modify deal details such as name, value, or stage.

  • Delete: Remove the deal permanently.

  • Add Follow-Up: Schedule a follow-up task for the deal.

Best Practices and Tips

  1. Regularly update lead information to keep your database accurate.

  2. Use filters and search functionality to find leads quickly.

  3. Leverage the lead form to automate lead collection from external sources.

  4. Export lead data periodically for backup and reporting purposes.

  5. Regularly update the deal stages to maintain an accurate pipeline.

  6. Use Kanban View to visualize the progress of deals at different stages.

  7. Leverage filters to focus on high-priority deals.

  8. Export deals periodically for performance tracking and reporting.
