Projeni.com allows you to use your own domain (like yourcompany.com) or any subdomain (like portal.yourcompany.com) for your CRM portal. Here’s how to set up your DNS records on Hostinger.

1. Log In to Your Hostinger Account

• Visit Hostinger Login.
• Enter your credentials and log in.

2. Go to the hPanel Dashboard

After logging in, you’ll see the hPanel dashboard.

Click on “Domains” in the top menu or left sidebar.

3. Select Your Domain

In the Domains list, find the domain you wish to use.

Click on the “Manage” button next to that domain.

4. Open DNS / Zone Editor

On the domain management page, scroll down to the “DNS / Nameservers” section.

Click on “DNS Zone” or “DNS Zone Editor” (the exact wording may vary).

5. Add DNS Records

A. For Main Domain (yourcompany.com)

Add the following records in the DNS Zone Editor:

IPv4 (A Records):

IPv6 (AAAA Records):

How to Add:

• Click “Add Record” or “Add New Record”.
• For Type, select A or AAAA.
• For Name, use @ for the root domain and www for the www version.
• For Points to or Value, enter the IP addresses above.
• TTL: Use default or 14400 seconds.
• Click “Add Record” or “Save” after each entry.

B. For Subdomain (e.g., portal.yourcompany.com)

IPv4 (A Record):

IPv6 (AAAA Record):

Replace “portal” with your chosen subdomain name (e.g., crm, clients, etc.)

How to Add:

• Click “Add Record”.
• Select A (for IPv4) or AAAA (for IPv6).
• For Name, enter your subdomain (e.g., portal).
• For Points to, enter the correct IP.
• TTL: Use default or 14400.
• Click “Add Record” or “Save”.

6. Check and Save

Confirm all the records are correctly listed in the DNS Zone.

DNS changes may take a few minutes up to 24 hours to fully propagate.

7. Take a Screenshot of Your DNS Records

Capture a screenshot showing the new A and AAAA records you added.

8. Submit a Ticket to Projeni Support

• Go to https://support.projeni.com/
• Log in with your company email.
• Click Create Ticket.
• Choose Custom Domain Setup as the ticket category.
• Attach your DNS screenshot.
• Submit the ticket.

Projeni support will verify your DNS setup and complete the custom domain process.

Tips & Notes

• Remove or update any previous/old A or AAAA records for the same names.
• If your site isn’t working after an hour or two, try clearing your browser cache or testing in an incognito window.

Done! Your Projeni portal will go live on your custom domain or subdomain once DNS is propagated and our team completes the setup.
