Projeni.com allows you to use your own domain (like yourcompany.com) or any subdomain (like portal.yourcompany.com) for your CRM portal. Follow this guide to set up your DNS records on GoDaddy.

1. Log In to Your GoDaddy Account

• Visit GoDaddy Login.
• Enter your credentials to log in.

2. Go to Your Domain Manager

After logging in, you’ll be on your GoDaddy Dashboard.

Click “My Products” from the left or top menu.

In the “Domains” section, find the domain you want to use.

Click the DNS button or Manage DNS link next to your domain.

3. Edit Your DNS Records

A. For Main Domain (yourcompany.com)

Add these DNS records:

IPv4 (A Records):

IPv6 (AAAA Records):

How to Add:

• Click Add under the “Records” section.
• Choose A or AAAA from the “Type” dropdown.
• For Name, use @ for your root domain or www for the www version.
• For Value, enter the IP addresses provided above.
• TTL: Leave as “Default” or set to 1 hour.
• Click Save after adding each record.

B. For Subdomain (e.g., portal.yourcompany.com)

IPv4 (A Record):

IPv6 (AAAA Record):

Replace “portal” with your actual subdomain (e.g., crm, clients, etc.)

How to Add:

• Click Add under the “Records” section.
• Choose A or AAAA from the “Type” dropdown.
• For Name, enter your subdomain (e.g., portal).
• For Value, enter the correct IP.
• Click Save after each record.

4. Save Changes and Wait for DNS Propagation

Make sure all new records are saved and visible in the DNS Management table.

Changes usually take effect within minutes but may take up to 24 hours to fully propagate.

5. Take a Screenshot of Your DNS Setup

Scroll to your records table.

Take a clear screenshot showing the new A and AAAA records.

6. Submit a Ticket to Projeni Support

• Go to https://support.projeni.com/
• Log in with your company email.
• Click Create Ticket.
• Select Custom Domain Setup as the ticket category.
• Attach your DNS screenshot.
• Submit the ticket.

Projeni support will review and complete your custom domain setup.

Tips & Notes

• Delete or update any old/conflicting A or AAAA records for the same name.
• If you don’t see your portal live after 1–2 hours, clear your browser cache or try incognito mode.

Done! Your Projeni portal will soon be accessible from your custom domain or subdomain once DNS and our support team’s setup is complete.
