1. Overview of the Appreciation Submodule
The Appreciation Submodule enables organizations to recognize and reward employees through awards and appreciations. It allows HR teams to manage awards, record appreciations, and maintain a log of recognition efforts. Features include appreciation tracking, award management, filtering, exporting, and more.
2. Accessing the Appreciation Submodule
Navigate to the HR module in the left-hand menu.
Click on Appreciation to open the Appreciation Dashboard.
3. Features of the Appreciation Submodule
a. Appreciation Landing Page
The landing page provides an overview of all appreciations recorded. It displays:
Given To: Name of the employee receiving appreciation.
Award Name: The specific award or recognition.
Given On: The date of the appreciation.
Actions: Options to view, edit, or delete appreciation records.
b. Add Appreciation
To add a new appreciation:
Click "Add Appreciation".
Fill out the appreciation form with the following details:
Award: Select the award type from a dropdown menu or click "Add" to create a new award.
Given To: Select the employee receiving the appreciation.
Date: Set the date of the recognition.
Summary: Add a detailed description or reason for the appreciation using the text editor.
Photo: Optionally upload a related photo.
Click "Save" to record the appreciation.
c. Export
Use the "Export" button to download the appreciation records as a file for documentation or reporting purposes.
d. Filter and Search
Search Bar: Quickly locate appreciations by entering keywords, such as employee names or award titles.
Filters: Filter appreciation records based on:
Award: Filter by specific awards.
Given To: Filter by the recipient of the appreciation.
e. Action Items
Each appreciation entry provides the following action options:
View: View detailed information about the appreciation.
Edit: Update the award type, recipient, or other details.
Delete: Remove an appreciation record.
f. Appreciation Tab
Appreciation Records: View a chronological list of all appreciations given within the organization.
Award Management: Create, manage, and categorize awards to align with company values and goals.
4. Award Listing Page
This section allows HR teams to manage the types of awards used for employee recognition.
Features
View Awards: Displays existing awards with:
Title: Name of the award (e.g., "Employee of the Month").
Icon: Visual representation of the award.
Status: Indicates whether the award is active or inactive.
Actions: Options to view, edit, or delete the award.
5. Add Award
To create a new award:
Click "Add Award" on the Award Listing Page.
Fill out the award form with:
Title: The name of the award (e.g., "Best Innovator").
Choose Icon: Select an icon to represent the award.
Icon Background Color: Set the background color for the award icon.
Summary: Add a description or criteria for the award.
Click "Save" to create the award.
6. Best Practices and Tips
Regularly update the Award Listing Page to ensure it reflects the organization's current recognition programs.
Use Filters to quickly find relevant appreciation records.
Export data periodically to maintain a backup of employee recognition efforts.
Use descriptive summaries when adding appreciations to provide detailed context for the recognition.
