The Bank Account submodule in the Finance module allows you to manage your bank account details efficiently. It includes features for listing, adding, exporting, filtering, searching, and updating the status of your accounts. Additionally, you can view, edit, or delete bank account records directly from the interface.
Bank Accounts Listing Page
In Finance Module, click Bank Account
View all registered bank accounts in a tabular format.
Columns include:
Bank Account Name
Account Holder Name
Account Type (Current/Savings)
Type (Bank or Cash)
Currency
Bank Balance
Status (Active/Inactive)
Actions (View, Edit, Delete)
Actions
View: Click the eye icon to see detailed bank account information.
Edit: Use the pencil icon to update bank account details.
Delete: Use the trash icon to remove a bank account permanently.
Add Bank Account
Click on the + Add Bank Account button.
Enter the following details:
Type: Select either "Bank" or "Cash."
Bank Name: Enter the name of the bank (e.g., "Federal Bank").
Account Holder Name: Specify the account holder’s name.
Account Type: Choose between "Savings" or "Current."
Account Number: Enter the account number.
Currency: Select the currency (e.g., USD).
Opening Balance: Add the opening balance for the account.
Status: Mark the account as "Active" or "Inactive."
Contact Number: Provide a contact number (optional).
Bank Logo: Upload a logo file (optional).
Click Save to create the bank account record.
Export Bank Accounts
Use the Export button to download all bank account records in .xls or .csv format for reporting and record-keeping purposes.
Filter and Search
Apply filters to narrow down the bank accounts based on:
Bank Name
Account Holder Name
Account Type
Status (Active/Inactive)
Use the search bar to quickly find specific bank account records by keyword.
Status: Active/Inactive
Manage the status of your bank accounts directly from the listing page.
Toggle the account status to "Active" or "Inactive" as per your requirement.
Best Practices
Regularly update your bank account information to ensure accurate financial data.
Use descriptive names and logos for easy identification of accounts.
Set inactive accounts to "Inactive" to avoid confusion.
